Step into a world of shimmering colour and glossy magic as you create your very own Dinner Party Serving Board in this enchanting North Brisbane resin workshop. Your beautifully crafted board becomes a canvas for swirling oceans, dreamy galaxies, soft pastels, or bold, dancing hues. Resin moves, blooms, and settles in ways that feel almost alive, making every board a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
With a full palette of colours at your fingertips, you’ll watch your serving board transform from simple timber into a dazzling centrepiece ready to shine at your next dinner party, celebration, or cosy night in.
What you’ll explore:
  • Preparing your board so it’s ready for its resin magic
  • Mixing resin until it’s glossy, smooth, and ready to pour
  • Blending colours into dreamy swirls and shimmering accents
  • Pouring and decanting to create movement, depth, and flow
  • Understanding curing — the quiet moment where the magic sets
  • Safety and resin chemistry made simple and beginner-friendly
  • Finishing your board with sanding and oiling for a silky, glowing finish
As your colours glide and settle, you’ll feel that familiar resin magic — calming, mesmerising, and deeply satisfying. Many guests describe the experience as meditative, inspiring, and a beautiful escape from the everyday.
By the end of your workshop, you’ll have created a handled Dinner Party Serving Board (50cm long, 25cm wide, complete with elegant black handles) that feels like a piece of functional art. It will cure over the next few days before being sanded and oiled to perfection, ready to become the star of your table or a heartfelt handmade gift.
Floral Board Option:
If you dream of a floral board, simply add flowers + resin top coat in the extras. Your floral board will be ready for pickup once fully cured.
Important Information:
Your board cannot be collected on the day — resin needs a few days to cure. We also require one day to sand and oil your board so it shines beautifully.
You’re welcome to chat with your instructor about collection options during the workshop — they’ll help you choose the best pickup time.
If you need postage, please add Postage Dinner Party Serving Board as an extra. Boards must cure for 7 days before posting to prevent defects.
All participants are warmly welcome, including NDIS clients. Support workers are invited to attend and assist at no extra cost.
