Looking for unique things to do in Dayboro? Join our dream catcher creative program with Sam of Hoofprints!

In this class, you'll learn the art of making your very own dream catchers with an experienced team, while surrounded by our friendly animals on the farm.

The Dream Catcher holds great significance in Native American culture, particularly for the Ojibwe tribe, where it is a symbol of protection and guidance. The Objibwe tribe believed a spider spirit named Asibaikaashi watched over their people and taught them wisdom.

According to the Native American legend, good dreams pass through the center hole and bad dreams being trapped and dissolved at dawn. We pay respect to this ancient tradition and hope to share its wisdom with you.

While creating your own unique amazing dream catchers from a variety of materials including the traditional beads and feathers, you can hang out with our friendly calves Bobby and JR, our new bottle babies Oreo and Baileys. Our gorgeous rescue horses Buddy and Nikita and our newest members of the Hoofprints family our cute guinea pigs Ronnie and Reggie.

We pride Hoofprints on being very welcoming and friendly to all. Sam has a background working in disability and mental health. She's a strong advocate for healing with animals as they provide so much comfort. While attending the workshop, you will have a chance to meet the animals and feed and brush them.

By the end of the class, you can take home your beautiful dream catchers, ready to hang on the wall!
