Always wondered how to make a set of floral numbers? Going to a milestone birthday and stuck on what gift to buy? This workshop is the perfect activity or gift.

During this two-hour workshop, which is perfect for beginners, you can indulge in a glass of bubbles and light snacks, while your friendly teacher Helena guides you to create your very own Floral numbers to take home all within an intimate setting.

You will learn about fresh and dry florals and how to apply them to foam to create the perfect floral numbers. This is perfect for a 21st, 40th, 60th etc and you can choose to what numbers you need at checkout. Price is calculated per number.

You will be given all the materials required including a selection of fresh and dry seasonal flowers and foliage. The floral numbers created in a class will then dry naturally for you to use decoratively in your home throughout the year.

Private requests:
A minimum of two people is required to run each workshop in-store and a maximum number of 20 people. For larger groups please contact Helena Rose to see what can be arranged.
For groups of six people or more, Helen can travel to your chosen location for the party (home, office, hotel room). A minimum of six people is required to run mobile workshops and a maximum number of 30 per session.

Please note: (thank you for your understanding)

  • Children over nine years old are welcome to attend workshops without a guardian or older sibling present. Children under nine years old are welcome to join any of the workshops as long as there is a guardian or older sibling present. All attending must have a registered ticket as seats in workshop space are limited. eg. if you are accompanying your child please purchase two tickets.
  • All floral programs are NDIS-friendly and support workers are welcome to join. All attending must have a registered ticket as seats in workshop space are limited. eg. if you are accompanying an NDIS student as their support worker two tickets must still be purchased.
  • No cancellations but customers can reschedule up to 7 days prior to booking. Due to the current covid situation, if there is a lockdown and a workshop is postponed or cannot be held, tickets are not refundable but will be transferred to a credit that can be used towards a future Helena Rose workshop, product, or service.

Knowledge required
No previous experience is necessary and the workshop is suitable for everyone who has is keen to learn a new skill with like-minded creatives.

Helena Rose is a minimal waste florist specialising in Floral Design, Headwear and Creative workshops.

With a background in Fashion Design and an innovative approach to style, Helena Rose marries clean, classic forms with fresh, feminine modernity and a playful sense of nostalgia.

Bold colours, unexpected trims, and high-quality materials are the signature elements that define each floral design created in-store.

An inspired designer, Helena Rose has traversed to over twenty countries across the globe as a stylist and has an impressive presence in the pages of international fashion journals such as Jute Magazine and Dreamingless Magazine while simultaneously taking a millinery class with French Milliner Estelle Ramousee, then working under the mentorship of Couture Milliner Maor Zabar in Israel.

Following her Applied Fashion Design graduation in 2010, Helena moved from Sydney to Brisbane to explore a different career path to exercise her aptitude as a floral designer. In 2021, opening a small store to the public in Fortitude Valley.

Since then, the offering has steadily evolved to include a range of
of biodegradable confetti, fresh and dry floral arrangements and an array of creative workshops both online and in store.

Bespoke Headwear collections are also available both online and in-store, hand-made by Helena.
