# My StoryHi, I'm Megan, founder of Fluxus Studio.Fluxus was created from a simple idea: in a world where so much of our time is spent staring at screens, there's something incredibly satisfying about making something real with your own hands.As a lifelong artist, I've always been drawn to creating. Jewellery and metalsmithing became a natural extension of that passion because they combine creativity, craftsmanship and a little bit of fire. Watching a simple strip of silver transform into a beautiful ring that someone will wear for years never gets old.Teaching has been at the heart of my career for over seven years. I'm also the founder of ARTSCOOL, one of Moreton Bay's longest-running creative studios, where I've had the privilege of teaching hundreds of children, teenagers and adults. Helping people discover abilities they didn't know they had is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.That's exactly what inspired Fluxus.I wanted to create a space where adults could slow down, switch off from the everyday and experience the satisfaction of making something beautiful with their own hands. You don't need any experience to join a workshop. I'll guide you through every step—from shaping and texturing to soldering and polishing—so you can relax, enjoy the process and leave wearing two sterling silver rings you've made yourself.One of my favourite moments is seeing someone look at their finished rings and say, "I can't believe I made these."Whether you're planning a date night, celebrating a birthday, organising a team-building event or simply trying something completely different, my goal is for you to leave with more than just beautiful jewellery.
