4.9 (21)Franci is formally trained in the art of Fashion and Architectural design, adding to her abstract and artistic flair with everything she creates. The pottery bug bit her 35 years ago, and since then she's been working with Master potters and honing her skills on various techniques, materials and styles. She's excited to share this unique perspective with her students.
During her design career, Franci mainly worked with individuals and loved the personal interaction this allowed. She has always been willing to transfer these skills to her clients by teaching them everything from fashion design to sewing, in a calm patient way.
In her pottery, Franci loves working with form and colour and is eager to share her design and artistic skills with people.
"It started with friends, and their friends, wanting to join the fun and create their own unique masterpieces!". Now with excitement, Franci opened her home studio to students wanting to learn the art of creating beautiful pottery. "its good for the soul", she says.
You are invited to book a workshop and share the passion of pottery while creating beautiful ceramic art. Her little dog, Ottis, may pop into the studio from time to time to say hi.

I went with my 12 year old daughter and spent the morning with Franci. She was very patient and helpful guiding us on how to make our mugs. The class went on longer than the 2-3hrs and was very good value for money. I can't wait to see our finished product and go back for more lessons.

We had a great experience with Franci making our clay cups. This was the first time we had used clay and Franci was hands-on and full of experience. She encouraged us be creative and was open to us exploring different ideas. Franci was super generous with her time and allowed us to stay longer to finish our project. Thanks Franci!

This was a surprise mother's day gift for my friend and my mother. Our teacher Franci was so patient while giving us step by step instructions helping us along the way. Both mother's were very surprised with their gift and created a beautiful mug each. All materials are supplied and we took morning tea and cake. Totally recommend doing this for any age. Easy parking, amazing teacher and very accommodating to our needs. What are you waiting for just do it!
