Teacher was great - very clear, patient and helpful. Only problem was the venue was very noisy and it was hard to hear at times.

This was a gift for my Dad. We both enjoyed the workshop, following instructions, and learning in a practical, hands on way. We have both been able to take what we learnt at this workshop and apply it to make more Kokedamas at home. Our Kokedamas (that we made at the workshop) are still going strong a month later. <3

What a lovely morning to spend Mom & daughter day out! Amazing teacher, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect venue with ample parking. Upon entering workshop area with tables and materials provided and displayed we could not wait to get started. Good value for money, will be back for more

I purchased this workshop for my partner’s birthday and it was a fantastic experience! She absolutely loved the workshop and the terrariums we were able to bring home. Abby was incredibly patient when both of us became overwhelmed at various stages, helping us with the placement of decorations. Everything we needed to make the terrariums were provided for (even a sink to wash our hands!).

The terrariums are sturdy too. We had to travel twice with them in the car, taking them out in between, and aside from the sand moving slightly, everything stayed in place! Abby also provided care instructions for us to take home, which included the steps we followed so we can make more terrariums at home!

My recommendations for others thinking of attending:
1. The general background noise can be quite overstimulating, so if you’re sensitive to overstimulation I’d highly recommend something like loop earbuds to help quiet it down.
2. Arrive a little earlier to have a look through the market before the workshop. That way if you see anything you’d like to purchase to use as a decoration (e.g. crystals, figurines), you’ll have them ready to add in as you’re making the terrarium.

10/10 gift idea. Will be purchasing another workshop in the future!

This was a low-key class with helpful instruction. I really appreciated having the supplies and glass container provided for me as I didn't want the extra work of trying to figure out what kind of glass jar to have. I love my terrarium and it makes me happy when I look over at it while I have my morning coffee.

The class was great. Abbey was detailed in her instructions and was good and keeping the class going.

We’ve always wanted to attend this class, and it didn’t disappoint! We had a great time learning about how to make a terrarium, and I know we would have the skills to do it again in future. The teacher was very friendly and accommodated everyone in the class.

We organised a private session for a 10 year old birthday party. The group of 7 girls were so excited when they arrived and saw so many materials laid out for the class. They really enjoyed the workshop and were super happy with their finished terrariums- they looked beautiful! The instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommended.

Such a good class, even without knowing anyone, it was such a nice knit group and could easily talk to anyone and ask for help from Abbey. All materials provided and we were able to bring our own decorations which was nice. Loved the location of it as well

Abbey was a great teacher, engaging and knowledgeable! VEND marketplace is such a great venue and the upstairs space is perfect for classes. The terrarium we made was huge, Abbey had a variety of decorations, including the basics of moss, ferns, pebbles, sand and rocks. Couldn't love my little ecosystem more, such a great addition to our home, plus Abbey gives you all the info you need to make sure it lasts for years! Highly recommend :)
