Gardening Class: Growing Tomatoes

Learn the secrets that make Neighbourhood Farm's tomatoes the most sought after by Brisbane's chefs

4 hours Class size 10 to 20     label $150

We've built a reputation for growing some of the best-tasting tomatoes around. In this fun workshop, we'll teach you the secrets to having your own delicious tomatoes to pick and eat from your very own garden.

Everyone loves tomatoes! They are by far the favourite crop on our farm. However, they can be very challenging plants to grow, especially in a subtropical environment such as Brisbane.

Over the years we have learnt a few tricks and techniques to help ensure an abundant harvest from your plants.

From selecting the right varieties, preparing your soil and planting, to pruning and feeding. With care, attention and the right techniques, tomato plants can provide you with the freshest and most delicious tomatoes for months on end.

Please note, dates may change due to weather conditions and the growing season. Refunds will be given if rescheduled times aren't suitable.
