Mosaics are Catherine's great passion! She has been working with glass for 25 years, and teaching mosaics for 10 years. She loves the limitless, colourful potential that mosaic offers as an art form while being sustainable and permanent. Catherine creates everything from micro mosaics to large scale architectural installations, however, she has a special love for the technique of glass on glass because of the ‘dance of light’ that can be achieved in this medium. She enjoy teaching mosaics as much as making them, as she gets to share in the sense of joy and satisfaction with students when they explore new techniques and create beautiful art.
