Connection to self and connection to our creativity is such a freeing experience! As adults, life is already serious enough! It’s time to have some fun and unleash our creativity. There is no better way to get out of the mind than to focus on the creation of something unique and fun. This will be a hands-on nature experience playing with clay - the ultimate adult playdough.

This workshop is suitable for an individual wanting more mindfulness moments, families wanting to connect, friends wanting to share a unique time together and even couples for a date-day option like no other.

Spending time to first nurture yourself through yoga, stepping away from the “doing” and the stresses of the week and connecting to your creativity and imagination is the perfect chance to enjoy time in nature and time to simply just be.

The bonus is: you’ll create something that becomes a keepsake of the time spent together. You'll experience the entire process of creating from clay, to a completely finished product. Each piece will be fired, clear glazed, fired again and returned back to you to treasure forever. This firing process also makes it food-safe and dishwasher-safe, creating a piece you can use every day.

Your teacher

I'm an immensely passionate Yoga Teacher, nature enthusiast and Mad Potter.

I started Pottery with a beginners wheel-throwing class in 2020 as a date-night activity with my partner. Now, 2 years later, I'm completely hooked and my partner can't keep up with me. Haha.

In July 2022, I was lucky enough to complete a 3-month Pottery Internship where I learnt all things about wheel throwing, hand-building, making clay and everything needed to running a pottery studio.

After finding so much relaxation and nourishment during my time playing with clay, it connects in beautifully with my love for yoga and meditation. I find playing with clay, in nature and with the combination of soothing yoga, it brings a state of harmony.

I'm so excited to share my Yoga and Clay-play workshops with you all. I am also available for private functions of 4+ people and am flexible to travel from Brisbane.
