I’m Sonu, founder and creative director of Threads of India. For years, I’ve immersed myself in the timeless craft of traditional Indian hand block printing, spending hours with artisans, learning their techniques and designing collections that carry the soul of this ancient artform into modern fashion. Now, for the very first time, I’m bringing this incredible craft to Adelaide. My workshops aren't just about printing patterns on fabric. They're about experiencing a centuries-old tradition that is as meditative as it is creative. You’ll get hands-on with beautifully carved wooden blocks with beautiful motifs, and natural non-synthetic colours which you will use to make something beautiful.
