What you'll do
Learn how to play the Didgeridoo with an Indigenous teacher in the picturesque surroundings of Augustine Heights.
This workshop is suitable for men of all ages who are looking to learn the Didgeridoo and gain further insight into Indigenous culture. Over three hours, your teacher will explain and teach you how to master some of the basic playing techniques.
The techniques that will be covered in the workshop include:
- Vocals
- Rhythms
- Lip Pressure
- Combined Techniques
- The Drone
- Circular Breathing
- Cheek Movement
- Tongue Techniques
- Diaphragm
Finish up with a basic understanding of how to play the Didgeridoo and a full copy of the workshop so you can continue practising.

Our Didgeridoo shop and Cultural Centre is located in beautiful Augustine Heights in Queensland. Surrounded by friendly wildlife in a Eucalyptus tree bush setting on acreage just 20 minutes from Brisbane and 15 minutes from Ipswich.
Our main goal is to share our beautiful culture with the world. All Didgeridoos and Yidaki's are authentic and naturally hollowed out by termites. No living trees or animals have been harmed or damaged in the process.
Our Didgeridoo Shop has a mix of handcrafted quality eucalyptus Didgeridoos made for Didgeridoo players of all ages. Feel free to visit the Online Didgeridoo & Yidaki Shop or come in for a coffee and make your own didgeridoo or join one of our jams, camps or gatherings.
All Didgeridoos come with a Certificate of Authenticity and a Didgeridoo workshop.
