What you'll do
Love everything wine, beer and cider related? Then you will love this day tour around the picturesque Hunter Valley region - perfect if you're looking for relaxing things to do in the Hunter Valley.
During this full-day experience, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds, visiting award-winning wineries and popular craft breweries. You’ll visit two craft breweries and two boutique wineries, have the chance to get a look behind the scenes at the brewing process and sample some of the best local flavours from the Hunter region.
In addition to the wine tasting, we’ll also help you to keep your energy levels up with a one-course lunch packed full of delicious local produce, and wine, craft beers or cider to quench your thirst. You’ll be able to tantalise your tastebuds while overlooking some of the most breathtaking scenery in Australia.
Departure information:
- If you are staying in Lovedale, Pokolbin or Rothbury we can most likely pick you up, but please advise us when booking via the booking question.
- Pick up will be between approximately 9.30 am and 10.15 am.
- You will be dropped off at your pick up location at approximately 4:30 pm.
- Sydney and Newcastle pick-up options are also available.
Please note:
- Your guide will inform you of the venue and choice of meals on the day of your tour.
- If you have dietary requirements ie. lactose intolerant, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergic to nuts or shellfish etc., we will advise the restaurant and they will cater to your specific requirements. Please let us know when booking.
- This tour accommodates a minimum of six and a maximum of 28 guests (get in touch for information on larger group sizes). Your order will be confirmed once we have filled six seats on the tour.
- We are not weather dependent for our tours and therefore will always operate.
- Because our tours are truly behind the scenes experiences sometimes our plans need to change to accommodate winery/brewery operations. And sometimes we just know about goings-on around town that are worth checking out, so we may change some parts of our tours.
- Whilst these changes are rare, we do reserve the right to make them. If you do have a must-see spot, please let us know when making your booking and we’ll do all we can to make it happen.

- On this tour, we pick you up from one of our listed hotels in the Hunter, and we visit two wineries and two breweries in the Hunter Valley with tastings in each and tours in selected venues.
