Looking for short day trips from Newcastle? Visit the stunning Hunter Valley region just an hour from Newcastle on this full-day beer and wine tour and tasting experience!

A visit to Australia’s original wine region is hands down one of the best things to do in Hunter Valley and your tastebuds will certainly thank you.

During this one-day tour from Newcastle, you'll visit three wineries and a distillery getting a look behind the scenes and sampling some of the best local flavours (wine, beer, and spirits) from the Hunter region.

In addition to the wine tasting, we’ll also help you to keep your energy levels up with a relaxed lunch accompanied by a drink to quench your thirst. You’ll be able to tantalise your tastebuds while overlooking some of the most breathtaking scenery in Australia.

A chocolate pairing and cheese pairing in the afternoon will continue to showcase local product.

You'll head back to Newcastle with a new appreciation of your favourite beverages and some wonderful memories!

Departure information:

The tour departs Ampol Cameron Park (119 Stenhouse Drive, Cameron Park) at approximately 9.45 am.
If you are running late, give us a call but please be on time. Your guide will love you for it!
You will return to Newcastle at approximately 5 pm.
Sydney and Hunter Valley pick-up options are also available.

Please note:

Your guide will inform you of the venue and choice of meals on the day of your tour.
If you have dietary requirements ie. lactose intolerant, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergic to nuts or shellfish etc., we will advise the restaurant and they will cater to your specific requirements. Please let us know when booking.
This tour accommodates a minimum of six and a maximum of 28 guests (get in touch for information on larger group sizes).
The time you arrive back in Newcastle will vary due to traffic conditions and variables out of our control.
We are not weather dependent for our tours and therefore will always operate.
Because our tours are truly behind the scenes experiences sometimes our plans need to change to accommodate winery/brewery operations. And sometimes we just know about the goings-on around town that are worth checking out, so we may change some parts of our tours.
Whilst these changes are rare, we do reserve the right to make them. If you do have a must-see spot, please let us know when making your booking and we’ll do all we can to make it happen.

Please note: For larger groups of 12 to 20 people, a $625 charter fee will be charged. For any groups larger than 20, please contact us for charter fee prices.
