What you'll do
Looking for relaxing things to do in Moreton Bay? Join us in Cashmere and play with the endless possibilities of watercolour paint!
In this class, you'll experiment and explore basic techniques with watercolour and unleash your inner artist as you create a bespoke watercolour painting to take home. Explore ways to approach various aspects of landscape painting and input your own style in the use of the medium.
You'll also get to use a variety of household materials and understand the medium, tools and materials necessary and where to get them.
Don't worry if you're a beginner, your friendly teacher will guide you through each step of the process in a supportive and social environment.
By the end of the class, you'll have created your own beautiful watercolour painting, ready to hang on the wall!

I am Ann, and my business name is ann.russell.art. I am based in the north west suburbs of brisbane and have many years experience as a practicing artist and as an arts educator. Over the years, I have helped many people realise their creative potential and develop their own art work as a hobby, profession and for relaxation.
I love to paint in watercolour and mixed media and also create surreal assemblage sculptures using glass, resin, polymer clay and found objects.
I am passionate about helping everyone find their visual language and believe that everyone can paint, draw and develop their own style. I have studied art and education to post graduate level and love to pass on what I have learned to others.
As a practicing artist, I have exhibited locally, interstate and overseas and have been selected as a finalist for a number of prestigious exhibitions.
