I love to make stuff, all kinds of stuff, I will pretty much give anything a try! I have a background in Fine arts, Photography, design and Art therapy. Over the years I have discovered that what I love most isn't just the creating art, it's making space where other people feel comfortable to have a go at getting creative too. That's why I opened The Drift Art Place. I have created an art space that is welcoming and a little bit different, somewhere you don't have to be 'good at art' or to know what you are doing. You simply come as you are, explore, experiment, make a mess and enjoy the process. I encourage 'Process over Perfection' and love to see when someone stops worrying about whether their art is good and just enjoys the process of making it. I like to supply interesting materials, give guidance, encouragement and see everyone walk out of class with their own unique artwork. Anyone can make art, there is no right way and sometimes the most interesting creations happen when things don't go to plan. That's the spirit of The Drift!
