Hi, I have been crafting things most of my life. I love arts and crafts, and I like to challenge myself to learn something new all the time. Tassie Craft Studio was born from a passion to encourage others to create and connect. I believe anyone can craft. I have worked with disadvantaged youth, special needs children, and adults. All have enjoyed group work or private sessions and gained a positive experience. I really enjoy giving a group of participants the same materials and watching how they turn it into a unique piece of work. I have worked with ceramics and pottery for many years, where I gained a Diploma in Art, Craft, and Design. I have studied art therapy in Melbourne, and I believe there is more to craft than just making something. It allows you to have a break from life and focus on the creative process. I have dabbled in polymer clay, machine embroidery, sublimation printing, card making, multimedia, Cricut vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, and now fused glass. As you can tell, I like different mediums from glass to clay, paper to fabric. When working with groups, I always learn new skills and techniques.
