Kitchen Art Magic: Sublimation Trivet and Glass Board Workshop

Create a colourful trivet or cutting board that’s uniquely yours

1.5 hours Class size 1 to 30 guests

$130 ($80 per class surcharge applies for private classes) (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Discover the joy of transforming everyday homewares into vibrant, functional art in this uplifting sublimation workshop. You’ll create either a beautiful ceramic trivet/pot stand or a stunning glass cutting board, each infused with your own colourful design and ready to brighten your kitchen the moment you take it home.
Sublimation is a little bit of science and a whole lot of magic — heat turns ink into gas, allowing your artwork to bond permanently with the surface. Instead of sitting on top like paint, your design becomes part of the material itself, resulting in a piece that is brilliantly colourful, durable, and wonderfully long‑lasting.
In this hands‑on class, you’ll explore:
How sublimation works — the fascinating process behind vibrant, permanent colour
Design preparation — choosing and arranging artwork for maximum impact
Heat‑press magic — watching your design fuse seamlessly into ceramic or glass
Finishing touches — ensuring your piece looks polished and professional
No experience is needed — my teaching style is calm, clear and step‑by‑step, making this workshop perfect for beginners. You’ll work with high‑quality materials and enjoy the moment your artwork reveals itself in a burst of colour. It’s a joyful, creative experience that blends relaxation with excitement as your design comes to life.
By the end of the session, you’ll take home your personalised trivet/pot stand or glass cutting board, ready to use, display, or gift. It’s a transformative workshop that leaves you with new skills, a beautiful handmade piece, and a fresh appreciation for your own creativity.
Design Selection & Preparation:
All digital patterns and graphic assets used in this workshop are sourced with commercial usage rights from Creative Fabrica, giving you access to a huge range of stunning, high-quality designs!
