In this class, you will learn to make and colour buttercream using pigments professional cake decorators use to achieve a fun mermaid colour scheme. Then you will use your buttercream to decorate pre-prepared cake and cupcakes.
You will also learn how to pipe with buttercream to achieve this mermaid style cake and cupcakes, as well as make and paint your own fondant decorations.
This cake design is perfect for any kind of fun celebration and will take your layer cakes and cupcakes to the next level. If you're looking for fun things in Brisbane to do or birthday party ideas, you'll have fun and learn to decorate a cake and cupcakes in this hands-on workshop!

My love of baking was formed at a very young age and some of my fondest memories as a child are when I was helping my Mother and Grandmother in the kitchen. Whilst I love all forms of cooking, baking is my favourite. I love to try new recipes and techniques and have developed some of my own recipes.
My decorating skills were not always as they are now but I always strived to improve. It was by accident, after a friend gifted me a decorating class almost 10 years ago, that I fell in love with cake decorating. Since then, I have sought out opportunities to improve my skills and have attended decorating classes with internationally renowned decorators.
