  • 5/5 from Evelyn Bosnyak, attended Jul 2026: My daughter Evelyn recently attended one of your classes. She really enjoyed it and her confidence in sewing has grown. She is keen to participate in some more classes in the future.
  • 5/5 from Deborah Simpson, attended Jul 2026: This was our second class with Susie - she is a fantastic teacher, patient, friendly and fun. We’ve made zip up make up bags and cushion covers. Love our end product. Highly recommend these classes.
  • 5/5 from Elizabeth Monk, attended Jan 2026: I had been looking for a class for my 11 year old that would teach the basics of sewing and create a simple project and had no luck for a long time. When someone shared this class it was the perfect fit for her. The session was easy for her to follow and she was thrilled with her finished cushion. I would recommend for anyone wanting to learn from scratch or refresh their knowledge/ skills. The Kalamunda Community Centre is a lovely location.
  • 5/5 from James Hancox, attended Nov 2025: I had such a fun time. I went into the workshop having never touched a sewing machine and came out with my own hand-made cushion! Suzie is a great teacher. She made me feel at ease and supported me through all steps of the process - even if I was the slowest student / perfectionist. Looking forward to doing another one of her workshops in the future.
  • 5/5 from Charlotte Vaughan, attended Nov 2025: Did this workshop with my 10-year-old daughter. This was her first time sewing, and I wasn't sure she would have the patience, but she loved it, growing in confidence with the sewing machine and finding a new passion for ironing. Suzie was great, providing easy to follow instructions for sewing newbies. We had a lovely mother and daughter morning, both thoroughly enjoyed the class and came away with a beautiful cushion keepsake. Highly recommend!
