Leather Journal Cover Workshop

Create your own leather journal cover in Brisbane!

2 hours Class size 1 to 8 guests

$130 (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Join your Darling Citizen hosts Jessie and Vicky to make your very own leather journal cover!
In this two-hour workshop, you will create a leather journal cover and customise it to your taste - you choose your leather, cord colour, and charm.
If you would like to bring your own charms (maybe a special pendant or bead) or stickers, etc., to decorate your notebooks, you are more than welcome!
Cost includes materials for an A6 leather cover, two notebooks, and a charm to decorate. We will also provide stickers, stamps, and ephemera to decorate your notebooks.
By the end of the class, you will come away with your unique journal cover, two notebooks, charms of your choosing, as well as some special gifts from Darling Citizen!
If you would like to make an A5 size, please get in touch. A5 is an extra $25 and is dependent on supplies, but we will do our best to accommodate!
Note: As we pre-purchase supplies for our workshops, we do not issue refunds unless the workshop is cancelled by Darling Citizen. In the event you cannot make it, we will do our best to book you into another workshop date!

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
What you'll get
  • You will come away with your unique journal cover, two notebooks, charms of your choosing, as well as some special gifts from Darling Citizen!
  • Drinks and snacks provided.

Creating meaningful connections through creativity and community
Mornings at Blackwater by Mary Oliver
For years, every morning, I drank
from Blackwater Pond.
it was flavored with oak leaves and also, no doubt,
feet of ducks.
And always it assuaged me
from the dry bowl of the very far past.
What I want to say is
the past is the past,
and the present is what your life is,
and you are capable
of choosing what that will be,
darling citizen.
So come to the pond
or the river of your imagination
or the harbor of your longing,
and put your lips to the world.
Welcome to darling citizen
