Letterpress Printing Workshop: Greeting Cards

Looking for unique things to do in Brisbane? Join this letterpress printing workshop today and create beautiful, unique cards to give away this Christmas!

You'll have lots of fun using our gorgeous vintage printing press machines to create beautiful hand-printed cards! Such a lovely way to add a special touch to your gifts this year, or to give people a card they'll want to keep forever.

Our printing machines, between 60 to 120 years old have been lovingly restored to their former glory and are such a joy to use! We take a maximum of four students per workshop and we'll guide you each step of the way.

Here's what happens in this interactive workshop:

• You'll choose your favourite design from our range of unique Greeting card templates
• Then you'll select your ink colour, and get busy using a spatula to prepare the printing machine
• Carefully and supervised, of course, you'll use the paper guillotine to cut the paper into the right print size
• We'll show you how to set up your card for the perfect print, and away you go!
• Then into the second part of printing you will crease and fold your cards using our finishing equipments.
• Now is the final part, where we'll insert the cards in they own envelopes and make them ready to give to someone special! ️

This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or clever clogs who've got some letterpress printing experience.

• For safety, please avoid wearing loose or baggy sleeves, and for those with long hair bring a hair tie.
