What you'll do
I am self-taught artist and love all things craft. This Macrame workshop is an outdoor activity perfect for our sunny winter weather. We have our friendly calves, bottle babies, horses and our new additions our 2 guinea pigs, Ronnie and Reggie.
I would love to teach you create your own Macrame wall hanging using a variety of materials.
Did you know that the art of Macrame dates back to the 13th century?
Arabic weavers used knots to secure the loose ends of woven textiles into decorative fringes.
The art of Macrame is very relaxing, calming art that has therapeutic benefits for the body, mind and spirit.
Come and meet and interact with our friendly hoofprint animals. Nikita and Buddy our friendly rescue horses, Bobby and JR our gorgeous calves, Oreo and Baileys our bottle babies and Reggie and Ronnie our cute guinea pigs.
I am an experienced in working with mental health and I am passionate about helping people to learn relaxing techniques. At Hoof Prints we are very inclusive and encourage NDIS participants to come and try out our classes.
The session duration runs for 2 hours, and morning tea and refreshments are provided. We are based in the beautiful Dayboro village just 20 minutes from Petrie.
I look forward to teaching this wonderful craft.
