My macrame journey began over 40yrs ago as an art teacher student at University. I created many very large macrame wall hangings and pot hangings for business foyers and upmarket clients. This was the "old style" macrame using mainly natural jute.

Once I became a teacher I didn't really do very much macrame until about 3 years ago. The new modern Boho style really appealed to me and I ignited the passion once again. I LOVE designing and creating something different but most of all as a teacher I get great satisfaction out of teaching others and keeping this great art alive. All my work is unique.

I create my pieces from my own ideas and as such, most of my items for sale are 'one only.' I often make items for people who ask for something specific but most of all, I really enjoy the Knot and Sip classes that are so much fun. Almost everyone who attends one of my classes can't believe they have actually made the piece when they finish. All of my classes make FULL SIZE items, (not small miniature pieces) something they are proud to hang in their home or as a special gift.
