Calling all indoor plant collectors, beginners to budding botanists. Join us for an experience where the botanical meets modern art!

Kubist Design finds fun and magic in combining air plants (tillandsia) with a selection of hand built, modern clay hanging planters for your little green pals.

Tillandsia are an exciting and diverse group of aerophyte plants in the Bromeliacae family. Many species are sculptural beauties in their own right. They are usually well suited to indoor locations, requiring indirect sunlight and just a spritz or bathe 1-2 times per week depending on the species.

We loved the hostshe was amazing. The venue was very hot with no air con and no working fan. With many people in the one venue it was difficult to hear what the host was saying.

Definitely the price is way too high for this experience. With only a cheese board and a couple of softdrinks covered for the price we ended up paying an extra $145 for more food and drinks for everyone. Definitely wont be booking through this site again.

We made clay planters under the gentle guidance of Gina. It was a private class and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The variety of clay colours and quantum of clay was great. The litre plants we received are adorable.
We enjoyed our coffee and cake intermission too.
Gina is a generous, fun and patient mentor and she was supportive our group’s creative and detailed ideas (tangents!)

Gina was lovely. Instructions were easy to understand and demonstrations were at a good speed to follow along. Very generous with extra little bits and pieces that could be added to your bowls to personalise them. The coffee shop (Horizon and Grind) was the perfect venue. Cool, comfortable seating with good coffee and beautiful cakes. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
