Beginning her professional life at just 15 as a hairdresser and beauty therapist, Michelle’s journey has been one of continuous reinvention.After starting a family, she transitioned into retail, successfully running her own stores. Her instinctive flair for marketing soon saw her advising other small businesses on branding, customer engagement, and sales strategy—always backed by real-world experience.Michelle’s business acumen reached new heights when she became CEO of a direct marketing company. Over 12 years, she transformed it into a multimillion-dollar enterprise operating across three countries and employing more than 300 staff.Her career was dramatically interrupted by serious health challenges that led to early retirement. During her recovery—following extensive surgeries—Michelle sought out natural, toxin-free alternatives to personal care and household products. Inspired by her grandmother’s “old-school” homemaking wisdom, this period sparked a new chapter of creativity and purpose.Today, Michelle channels that passion into craft and product-making workshops held at her Brisbane-based studio, where she teaches everything from handmade skincare to preserves and upcycling. Through her popular TikTok channel, which now boasts over 46, 000 followers, Michelle shares DIY projects, wellness tips, and traditional skills with a modern twist—proving that sustainability and beauty can go hand in hand.Despite ongoing health challenges, Michelle continues to inspire through her semi-retired life on an acreage property with her husband.
