  • 5/5 from Maree Colbran, attended Oct 2025: My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. There were plenty of choices of materials and Fran was very helpful with her guidance and knowledge We were extremely fortunate to be the only ones in the class. The location was lovely too. The bush surroundings were very relaxing. We would highly recommend this workshop. 10 out of 20.
  • 5/5 from Shannan Smith, attended Aug 2025: My sister and I attended Fran’s Mosaic Sun-Catcher workshop today and it was an absolutely wonderful day. The workshop space was lovely - it had a warmth and comfort to it, and it was great to be able to see all Fran’s stunning mosaic creations all around. We both really appreciated how much thought and organisation had gone into the workshop as well as Fran’s friendliness, patience and her passion for mosaic art. It was really joyful being able to relax, get creative, and make something unique with clear support and guidance when we needed. We are looking out for our next class! Hopefully we can fit one in before Christmas.

My interest in Mosaics started approximately 20 years ago - 2004. I started with some glass and a cutting wheel from a hardware store and kept going! From doing trays, picture frames, then tables - mostly using stained glass.
Glass is my thing.
I have tried ceramics, crockery, smalti, but always come back to glass.
A few years ago, my daughter suggested that I start teaching.
I worked out a plan of what to teach and it has grown from there.
My workshops are based at my home and there is a separate fully contained garden area from which I teach.
I love the teaching.
Most of my waking moments are about mosaics......either planning classes or working on my own projects
I sell these, either though markets or marketplace.
I have not tired of mosaics and enjoy every part of it and I hope that you will take part in a workshop and that I can impart my knowledge and experience with you.
