Hi I'm Janine, Chief Yarn Addict & FounderMy crochet journey started 10 years ago, and even after a decade with a hook in my hand, I am still learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to be creative every day.I know firsthand how exhausting the trap of perfectionism can be. The fear of making a mistake can freeze your creativity and take the fun out of learning.That is why I created Odd the Hook. I wanted to build a patient, welcoming space that gives kids the skills and confidence to never feel locked into a right way of being creative. They shouldn't need their work to match a picture of a finished product to feel proud of what they've made.Instead of teaching strictly to rigid instructions, my classes guide students through core techniques and creative design challenges.
