What you'll do

Join our painting class in Brisbane and discover the joy of sketching and painting from life. Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience, our friendly and positive environment is guaranteed to make you feel at ease.

In this workshop, you'll learn how to sketch and paint the exceptional sights of Roma Street Parklands, right in the heart of the city.

Don’t worry if you have never sketched/painted from life. Our experienced teacher will provide instruction and demonstrations to guide you every step of the way. Beginners will benefit from the basics, while those with some prior experience will be encouraged to expand their skills and pursue their interests.

Just bring along your willingness to play, learn, experiment, and have fun!

Knowledge required

All skill levels are welcome. Ages 15+.

What to bring

Whatever you need for a comfortable painting outing - comfortable clothes and shoes, a water bottle, a chair if you want to sit, an easel if you prefer to stand, a rug if you feel comfortable sitting on the ground
You may choose to bring along any of your favourite materials to enrich your experience: pencils, charcoal, sanguine, chalks, pastels, oils to try various drawing and/or painting techniques.
