Paint and Sip Class: Acrylic Painting

I discovered the thrill of creating beauty using the humble pencil as a child. I have studied* and created art all my life, exhibiting in Sydney, Queensland, California and London. I now love to use the skills I have learnt over the years to create original art experiences for my students which provide them a space to discover their own unique voice and style, in whatever medium they are drawn to. My interest increasingly lies in the joy of the process rather than the finished piece, but more often than not if the former is there, and a state of flow is entered, the finished piece will unfold. I bring to my sessions years of knowledge on technique and materials, a big heart and a desire to see in my students both enjoyment and a state of peace in the moments when they are creating. Art is more than the images we can create. It is also the energy, the truths, the thoughts and imagination that become freed. Art can make us feel more joy, more confident, more centred and at ease.My art classes have been running for the past 8 years in Brisbane and on the Sunshine Coast. My classes are designed to create a fun space for kids and adults to explore their creativity and imaginations.
