Wouldn’t it be so cool to wear your own art? Join this shoe painting workshop in Brisbane!
Bring your own pair of leather shoes, any colour you'd like, though white is preferred as colour can easily pop on, without having to do a layer of white first!
We will be providing special leather paint for you. You will be able to decorate it in any way you'd like. Your teacher Leah will have some references of what she has done, but you can also research some of your own inspiration, and she will try her best to help you replicate it.
For people who can't draw, don't you worry! We will have stencil cut-outs for you, which you are able to ask for custom requests too (not too hard).
To top it all off, shoe charms! We will have one free pair of shoe charms for you to pick from, then others for you to purchase.
Leath has so many ideas on how to help you create your shoes as cool as your vision, so come find out on the day and she can't wait to show you!

Hello! My name is Leah, I'm in my 20's. I was born in Hong Kong and moved to Brisbane when I was 4.
I have always loved being creative since I was young, but during quarantine I decided to take it seriously. So seriously that even Paris Hilton commented "That's hot" on one of my drawings.
I transitioned into customising shoes right after quarantine because I was constantly seeing super cool shoes on social media, then googling it and finding out it was at least $250+.
I started by painting my own pair of shoes and posted it on my art page and more and more people commissioned me to customise theirs (you can see them on my Instagram)! It was super fun at first and I felt so creative. However I was torn between two creative outlets and now the time for these workshops has come!
I didn't want to waste the knowledge I have of painting shoes, I wanted to share it with you! I even thought of how to make it BETTER. With these new workshops we will have stencil cut outs for newbies who have never drawn in their lives, so everyone will still be able to customise their own shoes.
I can't wait for you to come see it, but most importantly, I can't wait for you to feel the feeling of wearing your own art!
