Starting her career in Perth with her best friend Cathy at Amici Flowers, she later moved to Brisbane and continued her floristry journey opening Glenys Mercer Floral Design in Wellington Point in 2003. After years of running her successful business, she took a break and moved into the world of wholesale locally grown flowers. Through her time working in the wholesale sector Glenys learnt about the industry from A to Z, gaining knowledge of the flower growing process, meeting and working with incredibly talents floral designers across the country and gained the impossible ability to wake up spritely at 2am. In recent years Glenys came back to her floristry roots, creating florals for weddings and events across Australia, as well as styling weddings in the United Kingdom and Italy.
