What you'll do

Looking to learn a fun and interesting skill? Enjoy the wonderful experience of printmaking with Tamsha Creations in Carina!

No previous artistic skills are required. Just come along and enjoy a relaxing class where you're free to explore your own creativity.

The beautiful part about printmaking is that your artwork can be reused as many times as you like. The masterpieces you make can be used on cards, bags, t-shirts, tablecloths and more! Printmaking is a gift that keeps on giving.

Over three hours, you will be guided through every step of the printmaking procedure. You will learn how to draw and trace your designs on linocut blocks, carefully carve out the design with carving tools, roll inks onto your wonderful design and last but not the least transfer it all onto paper.

Knowledge required

Beginner-friendly. No previous knowledge or skill required or an ability to draw. A step by step process will be offered.

What you'll get

Additionally, this course encourages you to continue on your printmaking journey by providing an all-inclusive kit, it consists of a 10 cm by 10 cm rubber block, a carving tool, A4 paper and a card so you can keep practising your new skill.
You will also be taking home all the prints and artworks you've created in the workshop to show your loved ones.

I am passionate about showing people how easy it is to be artistic. From my own experience, I've seen people open up and be free through art. In every workshop, I've watched people come up with their own creative ideas and make beautiful pieces when they were given the opportunity of free expression. I see how much joy it brings to them when they are easily able to make amazing, unique pieces with some guidance and patience.

I've conducted many workshops throughout the years, some in markets and some for special occasions like birthday parties. In all my workshops I give my attendees an all-encompassing printmaking kit and encourage them to continue on their creative journey. From my first workshop till now I've always kept my focus on the learning aspect, both for my students and myself. Learning from past mistakes and constantly improving my skills to ensure that everyone leaves happy and satisfied has always been my main goal.

My biggest achievement to date was combining workshops and markets together. It was challenging but I managed to pull it off and make it fun for everyone involved. I've learnt to be efficient and my teaching skills have definitely improved. As I demonstrate my skills to my students, my love for art is only reinvigorated. Every individual brings forth their new ideas and pours their heart out into their own little masterpiece, I find this so beautiful and inspiring.

About four years ago, it was a printmaking workshop that reignited my love for art. I have had a deep connection to art all my life and this experience motivated me to follow my dreams. Since then art has been the central focus of all my endeavours and I have been diligently working on my skills. Sharing the happiest moment of my life with others and imparting my cumulated knowledge to them is a dream come true. All the positive feedback I receive for my hard work makes me feel confident that the path I've chosen is right for me.
