• Step 1 Fit Model Analysis (3-hour session)
• Step 2 Basic Bodice Block (3-hour session)
• Step 3 Basic Skirt Block (3-hour session)
• Step 4 Basic Trouser Block (3-hour session)

The beginner pattern-making series requires no prior experience; however, the fit model analysis workshop must be completed before attending the Block development workshop to progress through to the follow-up pattern-making block workshops such as basic bodice block classes.During this 3-hour session, you will:

• Develop your toile/sample using bodice blocks based on your measurements
• Receive insights on fit model analysis (fitting room model, not a fitness model)
• Gain valuable skills from an exclusive how-to manual

With a warm and welcoming approach, you'll be introduced to the use of measurements and the preparation needed for basic bodice block creation. This workshop is an essential step for those interested in designing their clothes or exploring the art of pattern-making.At the end of the workshop, you will proudly take home your creations, a completed workbook, blocks, and a sample.Get ready for a transformative experience delving into the fundamentals of pattern-making and design.

• Bring yourself for measuring.
• Pen/paper for taking notes.
• Sewing machine or rent one of ours.

$175.00 for this 3-hour workshopLocation: Your place or ours? If you are based in SE Qld, our teacher may be able to come to you for private tuition, day and time by negotiation. If the workshop is to be completed in your home, a minimum of 4 consecutive weeks ($175 per week) of Pattern making to be agreed to. A minimum of 1 person or bring a friend. Each person to pay the workshop fee as this covers equipment costs. Our workshop location to be confirmed. A minimum of 8 for the workshop to proceed with a maximum of 15 in the room/space for this workshop. This is a perfect event for any buddy artist young or young at heart wishing to broaden their natural creative talent. What you'll get:Completed fit model analysis size guide base around your measurements. Later you will develop blocks and toiles from the completed basic bodice block in calico.
