What you'll do
Have you ever wanted to learn to sew and don't know where to start? You now have the opportunity to learn from a skilled dressmaker and teacher in the privacy of your own home!
Our sewing lessons can be a one-off with the basics or a series where you create a new item each class. Items can be of your choice or ours, for example, scrunchies, headbands, tote bags, pencil cases etc.
At the end of the class, you'll have learnt new sewing skills and be well on your way to creating your own fabulous projects!
Classes are open to learners eight years old and upwards.
Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly. Suitable for home-schooled children as an extracurricular activity.
What you'll get
Private one-on-one lesson where you will make an item of your choice in an hour or two.
What to bring
Have your machine set up ready and with all the required notions to successfully make an item. This can be discussed before the first lesson.
Suitable for
This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a birthday or hens party.
Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old).

Creativity has been in my blood since a young age and now is the time to share my love of sewing with you. I’ve been dressmaking for over 20 years and have always loved creating. I’m also a qualified teacher having taught in primary and high school settings.
I believe the skill of sewing is becoming a dying art and needs to be revived for future generations and this is why I've started sewing and craft classes in my local area.
