Hi, I’m Meleuka from Rare Earth Oils, and I teach our Organic Perfume Workshops here in beautiful Kuranda. My journey into natural perfumery began long before I ever poured my first blend, it started with a deep respect for the land around us and the medicinal plants traditionally used by the Djabugay and Buluwai People. Our business has been wild harvesting botanicals and distilling essential oils in Kuranda since 2011, creating organic wellness products and perfumes inspired by nature and culture.Teaching perfume making is one of the greatest joys of my work. I love watching people slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their senses. Our workshops are intentionally immersive and calming. A little sanctuary where you can explore creativity, intuition, and self‑expression. Seeing someone discover their signature scent, something that feels authentically “them, ” is incredibly rewarding.
