We have a friend who is always telling people about how his dad built a chef knife over 30 years ago that he still uses to this day! Come make some memories and a custom knife with us that you can pass on to your children, who can tell their friends this same story in 30 years.
If you don't have time to try out our two-day Knife Making Course, where you'll also learn how to make a gorgeous resin handle, then this one-day workshop is a great option.
What to expect
Over a full day, we'll have pre-heat-treated stainless steel knife blanks for you to choose from. If you want any specific style, please let us know, as we can work together and make it so it’s ready for your class. We'll also have pre-made custom Savage resin handles for you to choose from.
We go over the whole process of making the knife together and will also go into detail on heat treating the stainless steel and how we custom-make our resin scales.
This is the ultimate knife-making experience and a wonderful Father's Day gift idea for him. Try out this private class solo or with a small group of friends and enjoy a taste of the wonderful world of metalwork!

What I didn’t expect was to emerge three hours later feeling like I’d just forged Excalibur, bonded with a hunk of steel, and possibly joined a secret brotherhood of fire-loving artisans Awesome class! The instructor was super knowledgeable and easygoing, the vibe was really chill, and we had a great time. Learned a ton, and actually made a knife I’m proud of!
