What you'll do
Resin art is such a fun and versatile medium to explore. At this unique Brisbane workshop with Caroline Barber, you'll learn how to add embellishments to your resin to make your own fabulous glass bowl design.
Perfect for absolute beginners, in this hands-on class, you'll learn how to mix resin and add pigments, techniques you can apply to future DIY projects at home.
We'll then learn how to use a mould and drape over a form to create your bowl. You're welcome to bring along small items that are significant to you to embellish your bowl with.
Due to the process, you will shape a smaller bowl to practice, as your main bowl won't be ready for shaping till the following day.
Your teacher is very flexible with classes so if you need an alternate time please contact them below.
Ndis CLIENTS WELCOME
I am a registered nurse and specialise in Ndis clients though all are welcome.
Nsis clients are free to message me if they have a request about accessing a class or how they are able to participate in a specific class. Support workers are welcome to attend at no cost and I can come to you a small travel fee applies. Within 30 min of my home in Petrie. You're welcome to make your own resin art tables at home to give as unique gift ideas to family and friends, however, our classes may not be re-taught or products made commercially.
Please note: This class is not suitable for children or pregnant women, due to the use of resin.
