Join Caroline Barber and Tee Ferlin for a unique resin art class in Brisbane. In this engaging workshop, you'll learn everything you need to know about creating a stunning resin art coffee table. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class is the perfect opportunity to explore your creativity and learn new skills.
During the class, you'll make a vibrant, 50cm coffee table using a variety of pigments and colours. If you prefer something different, you can choose from a geode or acrylic and resin top coat. The possibilities are endless with thousands of designs and hundreds of colours available for you to select from.
Caroline and Tee will guide you through each step of the process, from preparing the surface for pouring to troubleshooting resin leakage issues. You'll also learn how to mix resin properly to avoid any errors and how to combine pigments for a captivating colour blend. Safety is of utmost importance, so we will ensure you understand how to use resin safely and provide insights into its chemical properties.
The class sizes are kept small and intimate, with only one to two students per session. This ensures you'll receive plenty of attention and guidance throughout the class. If you have a group booking, private commercial venues can accommodate up to 10 people per class.
At the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own resin art coffee table to take home after it cures, adding a unique and vibrant touch to your space. The transformative experience of creating something beautiful with your own hands is truly rewarding.
Caroline and Tee have been working together for a number of years now, creating beautiful art projects and loads of memories. They are committed to making their classes accessible to everyone, including NDIS clients. Together, we form a formidable team, both with a desire to celebrate individuality, spread kindness and compassion, and add a little joy to the everyday—with a touch of cheeky fun along the way.
We welcome group and corporate bookings and will need at least a month's notice if possible. Bridesmaid parties, birthday parties, baby showers, end-of-life events (private class), and corporate functions.
Support workers are welcome to attend at no additional cost. For those who prefer a more personalised experience, Caroline and Tee can even travel to your location with a small travel fee applicable within 30 minutes of Elimbah or Petrie.
While you're free to create resin art tables at home as thoughtful gifts for loved ones, please note that the classes cannot be re-taught or the products made commercially.

Hi my name is Tee and I have been crafting for the past 5 or so years, after my career suddenly ended due to multiple surgeries, bringing with it a deep sense of uncertainty about the future. I found myself asking questions I never thought I’d have to face: What now? What am I supposed to do with my life?
What I know is that I wanted to find and spread compassion and joy and so began my dive into all things creative and the beginning of Larrikin Creations. A space built from compassion, resilience and heart. We all know that life is unpredictable and sometimes messy and I wanted to find and celebrate the normal and the beauty in that. Art, in all its forms, is such an individual thing, where there is no right or wrong, and that really resonates with me.
I have hands on and lived experience in the neurodivergent world along with a strong background in administration and project management and now I'm teaming up with a highly experienced teacher/mentor who has been invaluable in setting up this business. We'd love to see you along to some new and unique classes.
