Benita is a Certified Crochet Teacher with more than 40 years of experience in crochet and sewing, and a real passion for helping others learn.Through Benita Tatters Design, she teaches friendly, practical crochet and sewing classes for beginners and those wanting to build their skills. Classes are kept small so students can receive plenty of individual help, and Benita is happy to work with different learning styles and abilities.Benita loves taking the mystery out of crochet and helping students gain confidence one stitch at a time. Whether you're learning your very first stitches, tackling granny squares, working in the round, trying Tunisian crochet or developing your sewing skills, her classes are relaxed, encouraging and hands-on.She also has a strong interest in handmade and sustainable living, encouraging people to create, repair and enjoy things they've made themselves rather than relying on fast fashion.Most importantly, Benita wants her classes to be a place where people can relax, learn something new and enjoy creating. ️
