What you'll do
Come and join us on the deck at the beautiful Italian restaurant Osteria Epoca in Yeronga, Brisbane. Starting at 9 am, we will be working through numerous approaches to making your art. All of your materials will be supplied, laid out and ready to go. Once you have indulged in a delicious coffee, we will begin with fully guided mark-making and colour exploration.This workshop will suit all levels of experience (you really can't go wrong!). Beginners will be introduced to new materials and handling, while more seasoned artists will play and leave feeling loosened up and fresh in their ideas.This class will carry the theme "Floral"—a forgiving subject to focus on.By the end, you'll be able to leave with your own practice sheets and artworks!

I’m Tianni Fazio, an artist and educator with over 30 years of experience teaching creative and fine arts. As a freelance (house and garden portraits) artist and mum, I’ve continued to be creative through one on one lessons, workshops for children and adults. For the past five years, I’ve led a regular art group in Yeronga that brings people together to explore fine art and creativity in a supportive, fun social inspiring environment. I would really like to run some sessions a little outside the square. Getting people to play, think about their mark making and approaching their creative endeavors with a bit more oomph!I love teaching and guiding others to that “Look what I did!” moment. There’s something special about watching people get colour on their hands, being brave, and discover a skill that stays with them for life.I hope to see you join us!
