In this intimate two-day course, limited to just six participants, you'll receive personalised support and guidance from our experienced instructors. Whether you're a complete novice or a more seasoned woodworker, you will find fresh challenges that will elevate your skills.
Starting with a piece of sustainably sourced greenwood, you will have complete access to all the green woodworking tools and carving stumps required, as well as individual shavehorses equipped with a dumbhead and/or spoon mule for your ease and safety.
Upon completion, you will leave the course with a beautifully handcrafted spoon, spatula, or ladle—an object that embodies your creativity and skill and is made entirely by you. What to bring
It is advisable to wear full-length pants as an additional safety measure and closed-toe footwear for the workshop days. The use of a water bottle and a sun hat is also recommended.

An Australian National University School of Art graduate, where he majored in Woodworking and Furniture Design. Dimble offers intimate group workshops at various venues across Gippsland, as well as one-on-one sessions from its Traralgon studio.
