Studio on Brunswick is an innovative and fabulous space nestled in the laneway precinct of Fortitude Valley, Brisbane upstairs in the heritage listed Carroll's Corner Building. Founded and directed by professional Australian artist and expert teacher Lyne Tilt, Studio on Brunswick was created as a space to play, connect, learn and create. With over 15 years experience teaching professionally, leading pastoral care and training teachers to across several schools and universities throughout South East Queensland and over 30 years experience as an artist and art teacher, Lyne is an unapologetically passionate educator and advocate of The Arts. She shares her love and passion with a select team of similarly passionate artists and experts who run workshops, collaborate and exhibit together. Studio on Brunswick offers the public and artists fantastic workshops ranging from creative indulgences through to artist development programs and mentorship. As if that weren't enough, we also offer corporate packages, take social event bookings and have created an innovative and unique range of items including some amazing jewellery from our studio waste. We call this range ZerOw and 10% of the purchase price is donated to Australian organisations actively working to rid our earth and oceans of pollution...it's just one our small steps and efforts to be a minimal waste studio and make a difference. This was an amazing class. I arrived wondering how I was going to make such an elaborate article. The instructions were very clear and I made something I'm very proud of. Loved that I could work at my own pace. I'd highly recommend this class.

Gill (Jill with a G - the clay lady downunder) and Lyne (who owns the studio) are both wonderful artists, teachers and people Both are very knowledgeable and friendly, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. Gill led the workshop as the clay lady and guided us as we became more familiar with making our mixed media project. Your cured and ready clay owl is provided, along with a bag of goodies. Everything you need to complete this project is provided and the hours just flew by. Lots of lovely pieces/charms/embellishments to swap and change out so you customise your design. Lovely group of people, really enjoyed all the art and felt much calmer and grounded with the world afterwards - I wouldn't always have stepped out and completed a class but I'm so glad I did. I have my beautiful journal (that I actually need to use for ME) that I feel proud of. Met some beautiful people also attending and had a great day with everyone. Thank you for a fun, creative and refreshing day.
