Join Caroline and Tee in this exciting sublimation workshop. You'll learn how to create a beautiful trivet/pot stand or a stunning glass cutting board using the art of sublimation. This hands-on activity will not only teach you new skills but also allow you to take home a practical and unique piece that you've crafted yourself.
Sublimation printing uses heat to turn ink into gas, which then fuses with the surface material, making designs permanent, colourful, and durable. Sublimation printing is a way of "baking" a design directly into a material so it becomes part of it, instead of just sitting on top. This creates amazingly beautiful, vibrant products.
Don't worry if you're new to sublimation or crafting in general! Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step with patience and clarity, ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the class.
During the workshop, you'll get to work with a range of materials, including sublimation paper, heat transfer tools, and the base items for your trivet/pot stand or glass cutting board. You might feel a mix of excitement and relaxation as you unleash your creativity and see your designs come to life in vibrant colours.
By the end of the session, you'll not only have learned the art of sublimation but also have a stunning and personalised trivet/pot stand or glass cutting board to take home on the day. It's a transformative experience that will leave you with a newfound appreciation for your own creativity and the beauty of handmade pieces.
We hope you enjoy our time together.
