G'day. I'm Moo! (she/her)
I was lured to the serene Tasmanian landscape 20 years ago from a busy metropolitan Graphic Design career.
I use collaborative art techniques with variety of materials to explore a sense of self and bring play and wonder into people's lives.
I’ve always believed art can open spaces for healing, discovery, and connection. My journey began with hands‑on making — from glass sculpture and mixed media to installations — and grew into a practice that bridges personal creativity with community engagement.
A pivotal moment during my Masters training in Art Therapy showed me how sensory‑rich processes could unlock confidence and calm, shaping the way I now design programs.
I love facilitating because it’s about more than skills — it’s about creating safe, inclusive spaces where people feel seen and inspired. Through MakingRoom, I offer sensory‑rich, nature‑inspired sessions that support social skills, emotional regulation, and creative confidence. These are community‑based experiences, and can be billed under NDIS Capacity Building supports.
For NDIS participants with Art Therapy in their plan, I also provide clinical sessions through Melissa Lubke Art Therapy, blending trauma‑informed practice with creativity to support wellbeing. Over the years, I’ve facilitated many workshops, developed curriculum‑aligned programs, and created collaborative installations that celebrate resilience and growth.
