Every movement, placement of utensils, and the utensils and bowls themselves is a beautiful art form. Geeta has created a delightful, purpose built tea room and garden within which to enjoy the tea ceremony.

  • 5/5 from Steven Veitch, attended Mar 2026: Japanese tea ceremony experience. We really enjoyed this experience as it was something new. This was a birthday gift from our daughter. Geeta is a gracious host who has taken a lot of care to recreate an authentic Japanese tea ceremony experience in a specially built small tea room and formal garden. This was the first time we have tried matcha tea, and Geeta is a knowledgeable guide to aspects of what one might experience in a formal tea ceremony in Japan.

It was an incredibly calming and meditative experience and I left feeling centred and like I had engaged in an act of self-care. I would whole-heartedly recommend this to others and I can’t wait to come back to do another of Geeta’s classes or ceremonies.

  • 5/5 from Catherine Forrester, attended Apr 2024: We (4 guests) arrived at the beautiful tea house and admired its gardens before Geeta gave us an introduction to herself, the tea ceremony and what to expect when we began. Then we entered the tea house and were all impressed and pleased in our own way with the ceremony. Some of us loved the peaceful atmosphere Geeta created with the ceremony, as well as the experience of the beautifully designed tearoom. Some of us enjoyed the mix of quiet ceremony interspersed with Geeta's explanations or prompts. Some of us delighted in the beautiful equipment used for the ceremony and on display in the room. All of us enjoyed the sweet and tea served to us. Geeta was attentive to us as guests and gave us all information so that all of us - from the first timers to those who had already had tea experiences before - all learned something new and enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this.

The Rabbit Studio is a sacred space to share a unique and memorable time with friends. Allow me to take you on the journey of the Japanese tradition of Chado (Tea).
I am Geeta Harmon, and I believe happiness can be as simple as sharing a cup of tea!
My love of tea, its history and how it can be bought into our lives to serve as a way to connect with self and others came about after a serendipitous introduction to Chado (The Way of Tea) seven years ago.
Being in a time of transition this chance introduction was a blessing. I knew at that moment to study The Sacred Way of Tea and offering it to others was the next path for my life.
Having come from a background in yoga, massage and energy work I hold a deep interest in people and their journeys. Stillness and holding a sacred space for others has been at the root of my healing work and now with the path of Chado.
I invite you to come to and experience the spiritual way of tea which is a mindfulness practice.
In a fast-paced world where often our relationships with friends and family may be hurried and snatched over a coffee in a cafe, I want to bring back the humble teacup.
In my youth, visitors would always be invited in for tea, the table was set with a tablecloth and the teapot was big and full. Nothing seemed hurried and conversations could unfold gently over numerous hot amber liquids. This is a faraway world from the noisy cafes, where conversation generally remains on the surface.
Attending a Tea Ceremony at my tranquil bespoke studio, you will experience a ritual that will enhance inner harmony and nourish a deeper connection with friends.
I look forward to sharing my love and knowledge of the Sacred Way of Tea with you.
