Hi, we’re Alicia and Lou, the creative duo behind Art Escape—a relaxed and welcoming art space in Dayboro where creativity meets mindfulness.Art has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember, but our journey to Art Escape was fueled by a shared passion: creating a space where people can unwind, explore their creativity, and connect with others in a fun and stress-free environment.For Lou, a qualified and award-winning Art Therapist, art has always been about self-expression and healing. With years of experience helping people use creativity as a tool for mental wellness, she has seen firsthand how powerful art can be in transforming emotions, boosting confidence, and fostering connection.For Alicia, an award-winning and degree-qualified Graphic Designer, art is both a career and a lifelong passion. With over two decades in the creative industry, Alicia understands how creativity influences everything—from branding to well-being—and is passionate about making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone, no matter their skill level.Why Do We Love Teaching?There’s nothing better than watching someone light up when they realize they can create something amazing. We love seeing the transformation from “I’m not artistic” to “Wow, I made this!” Whether it’s a Paint & Play session, a Clay & Cocktails night, or a mindful Art Therapy workshop, our goal is to help people relax, have fun, and discover the joy of creativity—without pressure or perfection.What Makes Art Escape Special?Unlike traditional art classes, Art Escape is all about the experience.
