Hi, I'm Brooke and I didn’t start out as an artist. After nearly two decades in a high-pressure career, I experienced PTSD from a work-related incident and found myself searching for something to help quiet my mind. That’s when I discovered textured art.

What began as a form of therapy quickly became a passion. Creating helped me switch off, slow down, and reconnect with myself in a way I hadn’t experienced before.

I started making pieces for my own home, then for others, and eventually began teaching. That’s where everything changed. I fell in love with watching people walk in saying “I’m not creative” and leave with something they’re genuinely proud of.

Since then, I’ve taught hundreds of students through fun, beginner-friendly workshops designed to feel more like a night out than a formal class. I’m self-taught, which means I focus on simple, practical techniques that actually work for beginners.

For me, textured art isn’t just about what you create… it’s about how it makes you feel. And being able to give that experience to others is what I love most.
