What you'll do
Ever wonder what goes into making a luxury leather belt? Leather crafting, like any other skill, requires practice and the correct techniques to build those skills properly.
In this class, you will learn how to make a 38mm belt in any size to fit. This is a great course for people who have wanted to try their hand at creating their own luxury leather goods but don’t know how to start or are looking to have a better foundation.
Customize the fit of your belt----tailor your belt to your size, including leather tooling techniques, slick edges and a buckle.
Along the way, you will also gain some insight into working with leather, its structure and layers and find out the difference between full-grain and genuine leather.
By the end of this leathercraft workshop in Jimboomba, you'll have your very own fancy new belt!

What you'll get
- Your very own handmade and tooled leather belt.
- All tools and equipment supplied along with refreshments, tea, coffee and snacks. Lunch is available to order right upstairs at the beautiful cafe to be delivered instudio via cafe on Cusack or grab a bite from the many surrounding lunch options.
What to bring
Bring along an old belt helps for an accurate measurement. Measure the hip or waist, if you are making the belt for another person so make sure you have measurements.
