Hi, I’m Bec, a collage artist and creative educator based in Brisbane.
I fell in love with collage at a small free workshop at a market many years ago—a little cut and paste and I was hooked! I love the process of piecing together unexpected images to create something new and interesting. Using our values as a guide, we can create some meaningful and beautiful art.
I specialise in abstract, whimsical collages that explore alternative worlds and represent the values we want to bring into our lives—whether that’s joy, adventure, confidence, or calm. I work with both traditional (analog) and digital collage, and I love the hands-on, tactile nature of cutting and assembling materials—especially in an era where so much art is created digitally.
Why I Teach
There’s something magical about collage—it’s accessible, intuitive, and endlessly creative. No experience is necessary to make something meaningful, and I love guiding people through the process of discovering their own artistic voice. My workshops are designed to be fun, relaxed, and immersive, whether you’re creating a vision board, a personal keepsake, or just experimenting with paper and composition.
Sustainability & Quality
You can feel good about using recycled materials to create your art. All materials are sourced second hand the scraps are recycled.
I believe art should not only be beautiful but also environmentally responsible.
I can’t wait to welcome you to one of my workshops and help you create something truly special. Let’s cut, layer, and create together!
