  • 4/5 from Chelsea Bradley, attended Sep 2026: Very impressed with the teachers Amalia and Farida. Learned a lot on the basics of the mosaic technique, they had a variety of tiles to choose from! Appreciated the kindness, patience and understanding from the teachers. I would have liked to spend more time on my design, but that’s just me! Thank you ladies.
  • 5/5 from Katherine Chappell, attended Aug 2026: We had a great experience with this mosaic class. It was fun spending time with some girlfriends getting in touch with our creative sides. Along with the careful guidance and help from the wonderful team. Would highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Celia Loot, attended Aug 2026: Attended the beginners Mosaic class. It was very enjoyable and the instructors were lovely. Small class everything was well set out and easy to access. The location at VIC Park was easy to access with good parking availability. Time went very quickly. Don’t have to be arty or crafty to leave with a lovely finished piece.
  • 5/5 from Lisa Halabut, attended Aug 2026: Thank you for sharing your knowledge and inspiration. I've created a piece that I love, with your guidance.
  • 5/5 from Taryn Aspeling, attended Aug 2026: I bought the bird bath class for my elderly mother and the house number class for my sister. Here's what my mom had to say: " We had a lovely time. Who knew mosaic making was such fun? The birdie was Ols (sister) and it came out really well. My bee was a bit tricker. My trigger finger and other arthritic fingers caused some probs, so the one instructor lady cut all my square pieces into shapes for me. It was such fun! "
  • 4/5 from Renae Basso, attended Jul 2026: There were 3 teachers in the class. All students (8) had never done mosaics before, yet we all ended up with great finished pieces. Everyone else used pieces that were provided to them in the class, but I decided to bring in my own tray. This tray has now cracked down the sides, so I would suggest using the pieces they provide for you. Using the tile cutters was very hard, but everyone managed to use them. You get given 3 hours to create your piece (included in that is a demo), and the last hour is waiting for your project to dry, and putting the grout in your project. The 4 hours goes by very quickly.

The teachers was excellent — patient, knowledgeable, and very encouraging throughout the session. The class was well organised from start to finish, which made it easy to relax and just enjoy the creative process. All the materials were provided, so there was nothing to worry about bringing along, and everything was set up perfectly when we arrived. It was a fun, hands-on afternoon where I learned new skills and left with something I was really proud of. I would happily recommend this class to anyone looking for an enjoyable and creative way to spend an afternoon, whether you’re completely new to mosaics or just wanting to try something different.
  • 5/5 from Carol Davenport, attended Feb 2026: This is a great experience. I took my grandaughter and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A family business and all were welcoming, helpful, extremely creative. They are happy to share their skills, knowledge and information so you can continue to mosiac at home. My grandaughter cannot wait to go again. Farida quietly offered her help and encouragement. Such a lovely family, offering a great experience at a very reasonable price.

  • 5/5 from Lauren Davies, attended Jan 2026: Well organised class with clear instructions. Also able to gently guide with colour selection when my creative mojo blipped. My house number looks great. It's not in its final place yet, but photo of its temp position
  • 5/5 from Anita Radich, attended Dec 2025: Great parent and child activity. Lovely time spent together and getting creative. Easy going pace with plenty of help available if needed!
  • 5/5 from Toni McAllen, attended Dec 2025: This was a really well run class. Everything was explained very clearly and demonstrated, not just explained. There was a lot of support while we were making our pieces and a lot of creative freedom. For example, there were a lot of base shapes to choose from, a good number of different coloured tiles, several different coloured grout. The length of the class allowed enough time to finish the piece and the teachers helped when needed. It was an encouraging, supportive environment and I’m so glad I did the class.
  • 5/5 from Kathy Garbin, attended Dec 2025: Enjoyable workshop that you can go at your own pace with assistance along the way. Great to get a group of friends together.
  • 5/5 from Rebecca Nield, attended Dec 2025: We did a mosaic class as a group of five for a birthday and absolutely loved it! Our teacher was friendly, patient, and so helpful throughout the whole session. We all chose completely different projects — Christmas themes, a house number, a dog design, and a picture frame — and every single one of us finished with a final product we were genuinely proud of. The class was easy to follow, really fun, and perfect for all skill levels. We had such a great time creating, chatting, and learning new techniques. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for something creative and memorable!

It was also great to see the creativity of the others in the group. I'll be back again and next time I'm doing the bird bath / feeder! Everyone is so helpful and willing to share their ideas and experience, it's a terrific way to spend a few hours with family / friends of all ages.

  • 5/5 from Louise Kaestner, attended Aug 2025: A familly group, a grandmother, grandfather, grandaughter and boyfriend ran this delightful group. The location is set at Earthwise, which has an opshop and is located on peaceful grounds surrounded by earthy gardens. The teachers were pateint and let me do my own thing, helping me when I needed it. I was nervous to begin with, as I had never done mosaic. However, it was much easier than I expected. At the end, we grouted our pieces and got to take them home. Not only were the teachers great, activity fun and location supreme, the other participants were excellent conversationalists. I enjoyed my day!

  • 5/5 from Olive Cheng, attended Apr 2025: Fantastic class! Great value for money. We loved it and the hosts were so lovely and helpful. Really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon crafting and learning a cool new skill!
  • 5/5 from Pam Shipway, attended Apr 2025: A fabulous introduction to mosaics.
  • 4/5 from Ann Mellish, attended Apr 2025: I enjoyed the class very much and was happy with my flower pot. I thought the $20 charge for a terra cotta pot was a bit high. I would have appreciated a little more information before we started. My chosen design involved much cutting of tiles. When getting some help, I learnt that some tiles cut more easily than others, so I could have made different choices. However, the teachers were very helpful and it was a very pleasant experience.

Hi, I'm Farida – your mosaic art guide in Perth!
I discovered the joy of mosaic art 25 years ago as a hobby, and I quickly fell in love with the colours, textures and endless creative possibilities. What started as a passion has grown into my profession, and I'm proud to now share my love of mosaics with others across Perth and beyond.
Today, I run mosaic workshops for people of all ages and experience levels — from complete beginners to experienced makers, children, adults and seniors. In my workshops, you might create a beautiful mosaic tray, a decorative bird bath, or a stunning wall art panel — each one a unique piece you'll be proud to display or gift.
My workshops are relaxed, friendly and hands-on. You'll learn mosaic techniques, explore your creativity and create something beautiful to take home. No previous experience is needed, and I provide everything you need to get started.
Mosaic making is not only creative and rewarding — it can also be a wonderful way to slow down, focus, relax and enjoy some time away from everyday life. My workshops are also a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and share a fun creative experience.
Can't make it to a workshop? I also offer carefully curated DIY Mosaic Kits — everything you need to create your own mosaic masterpiece from the comfort of your home, delivered straight to your door.
I love seeing the moment when someone looks at their finished mosaic and realises, "I made this!"
Come and discover the joy of mosaic art — one tile at a time.
